MIRABELLE MARZIPAN CAKE
PREPARATION
Mirabelle Marzipan Cake
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (160°C for a fan oven). Grease the baking pan with some butter . Put 50g sugar, marzipan paste, almonds and 50g butter in a bowl. Knead with your fingertips, set the streusel aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, 150g sugar, baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and orange zest. Mix in 125g coarse_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d butter. Whisk together the buttermilk and eggs and stir in in 3 batches with a hand mixer for about 10 seconds each . Don't mix for too long!
Teig in die vorbereitete Form füllen. Mirabellen darauf verteilen und dabei 2cm zum Rand frei lassen. Marzipan sprinkles spread evenly over the fruit. Cake in the lower third of the oven for approx. Bake for 60 minutes. Let the cake cool, then remove it from the mold Serve with whipped cream, if you like.
